A Flintlock Duelling Pistol by Sharman. With octagonal sighted barrel decorated with a geometric band at the breech, profusely engraved tang, fitted with standing rear-sight, stepped bevelled lock, signed beneath he pan, fitted with a sliding safety catch, set-trigger, full-stocked in walnut cut with chequering at the grip, with white metal mounts comprising; vacant shiedl shaped escutcheon and barrel bolt escutcheons, steel trigger guard engraved with Britannia shield on the bow and pineapple finail, turned ramrod pipes with what appears to be original brass mounted ramrod with concealed worm.
