A Flintlock Blunderbuss Pistol by P. Bond

A Flintlock Blunderbuss Pistol by P. Bond, London. With belled brass barrel and action in one piece, the former formed with two mouldings at the muzzle, border engraved box-lock action, simply engraved, ‘P.BOND’ within an oval to the left and, ‘CORN HILL LONDON’ to the right, fitted with sliding safety catch and under-slung bayonet, slab sided walnut butt, engraved trigger guard that also acts as the bayonet release catch. A nice honest example.
