An Ornate Percussion Travelling Pistol. With browned twist octagonal sighted barrel profusely engraved with scrolling foliage at the muzzle and breech, the fore-sight embellished with gold in the form of a sun-burst, the breech with a double gold line and a single platinum line, foliate engraved tang with back-sight, border engraved lock decorated with foliage, foliate engraved hammer, engraved safety catch, figured full-stock with finely chequered rounded butt, decorated overall with fine scrolling silver flowers and tendrils, steel trigger guard with stylised pineapple finial and engraved with foliage on the bow, horn fore-end cap, vacant oval escutcheon, original ramrod with worm.
