A Fine Cased Double Barrel Percussion Pistol by J. Blissett of London. With browned sighted barrel signed, ‘BLISSETT LONDON’ along the central rib, case hardened breech decorated with scrolling foliage, foliate engraved tang retaining much original colour, signed foliate engraved back-action locks, cocks decorated en suite, full-stocked in walnut cut with a band of deep chequering at the grip, foliate engraved butt-trap, blued engraved trigger guars and ramrod pipes, with captive ramrod, retaining nearly all original colour throughout; in original green baize lined oak case, the lid with flush fitting carrying handle, the interior with original trade label and containing all accessories including bullet mould, nipple key and cleaning rod. In fantastic condition overall.
