A Double Barrelled Pistol
A 40 Bore Double Barrelled Flintlock Box-Lock Pistol by Bunney, Circa 1770. With brass three-stage turn-off cannon barrels numbered 1 and 2, border engraved brass action finely decorated with scrolling foliage and signed BUNNEY LONDON on a scroll framed by foliage, and fitted with sliding iron cut-off on left, walnut butt with oval white metal escutcheon engraved J BUNNEY J E 1800 completed with brass grotesque butt cap, engraved trigger guard (engraving refreshed) stamped with London proofs.
