A Colt Pocket Revolver, No. 220242 for 1862. With octagonal sighted barrel, retaining some original finish toward the muzzle, stamped, ‘ADDRESS COL SAM COLT New York US AMERICA’. With six-shot cylinder, stamped with a good stage coach hold up scene, stamped 22092, the pistol has matching numbers throughout, the frame stamped COLTs PATENT, brass trigger guard and back-strap, complete with what appears to be its original leather holster.
