A Cased 54-Bore Percussion Five-Shot Revolver by Blissett & Son, Liverpool. With sighted octagonal barrel, border engraved top strap, ‘J. Blissett & Son, Water Lane London and Castle St. Liverpool’ cylinder with double line engraving and Birmingham proofs, border engraved body, stamped with PATENT No. 5033’. Chequered rounded butt. The gun retaining 30-40% of its original finish. In its fitted mahogany case with pewter oil bottle and reproduction powder-flask, with trade label, the exterior of the lid with vacant circular brass escutcheon.
