With rounded barrels, border engraved white metal action with nipple-shield, decorated with scrolling foliage and signed on one side, EDGE MANCHESTER, bar-hammer and trigger guard decorated en suite, the former with thumb-piece safety catch, ovoidal pommel-cap with hinged circular butt-trap cover engraved with flower hear, finely chequered rounded butt with vacant silver escutcheon, Birmingham proofs: in an associated pistol box lined in green baize with some accessories including bullet mould, powder flask etc, the lid with cartouche engraved, ‘Mr Henry Samson’.
