A Pair of 32-Bore Rifled Percussion Officers Pistols by Charles Lancaster, No. 348. With heavy sighted octagonal barrels, signed €CHARLES LANCSTER 151 NEW BOND St LONDON€ fitted with rear-sights, case hardened breech blocks with single platinum lines and pierced platinum plugs, foliate engraved steel tangs, profusely engraved signed locks with sliding safety catches, half-stocked in walnut with horn fore-ends, engraved steel mounts, comprising engraved butt cap, numbered trigger guards and stylised pineapple finials, with horn tipped ramrods with worms: in an associated case containing all accessories including bullet mould, powder flask etc.
The pistols were made in 1833 for a R. H. Wood esq.
