With octagonal to round barrel swelling at the muzzle, stamped at the breech with London proofs and Mortimers barrel smith mark, decorated with a band of circles at the breech, repeated on the tang and beautifully foliate engraved, signed stepped lock decorated with foliage at the tail, the cock decorated en suite (a working life replacement), full-stocked in walnut with raised carving around the apron, engraved silver escutcheon, with border engraved steel steel mounts comprising long eared butt-cap, trigger guard decorated with a flower head on the bow and acorn finial, turned ramrod pipes, with horn tipped ramrod with worm.
