A 1908 Pattern Cavalry Troopers Sword
A very good 1908 pattern cavalry sword manufactured at Enfield in June 1915. Disliked by Edward VII due to its functional pistol grip design the 1908 was nevertheless regarded as the finest balanced cavalry sword of its time.
The sword and wallet are in very good condition overall and included is its nickel plated scabbard, perhaps upgraded when the sword passed into parade ground use after the war.
