A 1796 Pattern Troopers Sword
A 1796 Pattern Light Cavalry Trooper’s Sword by Joseph Reddell & Co. With plain curved blade, cut with a large fuller along the back edge with hatchet point, stamped along the back edge with the blade smiths name ‘Josh H Reddell & Co’, steel stirrup hilt with leather covered wooden grip, (wire missing) contained in its original steel scabbard with two suspension rings. The sword and scabbard are painted black.
