A Sleepy Flintlock Carriage Pistol by Theo. Richards. With browned sighted barrels, engraved ‘LONDON’ within the central sighting groove, decorated with a geometric band at the breech, engraved steel barrel tang, cut with a sighting groove, stepped bevelled lock, signed beneath the pans on both sides and fitted with sliding safety catches, half-stocked in walnut (old repair forward of the right-hand lock) with engraved steel mounts comprising foliate engraved butt cap, trigger guard decorated with a flower head within a diamond on the bow and pineapple finial, pineapple ramrod pipe, with what appears to be the original horn tipped ramrod fitted with a worm.
