With three-stage octagonal to round barrel, decorated with foliage at the breech and stamped with Tower of London private proofs, border engraved steel tang, stepped border engraved lock, full-stocked in walnut, with a raised moulding around the tang, and unusual skeleton-stock, underslung bayonet released incorporated into the trigger guard, side mounted ramrod.
