An Irish Percussion Box-Lock Turn-Over Pistol by R. Tims of Dublin, Circa 1845. With turn-off barrels numbered ‘3’ and ‘4’ and each engraved with a band of ornament at the muzzle, signed actions with three bents and engraved with characteristic scroll work, folding trigger and chequered walnut butt with silver escutcheon signed ‘CJ’ and also a silver escutcheon on the base depicting a swan.
