An India Pattern Brownbess. With round barrel struck with large King's proof marks, rounded lock incised with double border lines and marked 'TOWER' on the tail and with 'GR' cypher beneath the pan, walnut three-quarter stock with stamps including a shield-shaped crowned mark above the number '150' on the right side of the butt, brass mounts, iron sling mounts, and iron ramrod (old repair to base of stock).
