An Incredibly Scarce Pair of Rifled Pistols from the House of the Hanoverian Royal Family. Both numbered 548 and complete with original shoulder stock. With round eight groove rifled, sighted barrels, plain tang incorporating back-sights, the butts pierced for shoulder stock and the stocks marked ‘1’ and ‘2’ on corresponding pistols, plain, stepped locks with sliding safety, full-stocked in walnut and with plain brass mounts. The pistols also come complete with their original loading rod and lanyard ring. Both pistols retains original collection tags consecutively numbered ’1477’ and ’1478’.
