An Incredibly Scarce Dutch or German Wheel-Lock Pistol, Circa 1650. With slender tapering sighted barrel, with raised rear leaf-sight, plain tang, stamped with makers marks, bright lock, sprung sliding pan-cover, plain cock, full-stocked in walnut (some cracks and blemishes commensurate with age) with horn fore-end cap, the lock retained by three screws, plain slender steel trigger guard, what appears to be a silver band around the swelling butt, single ramrod pipe with steel tipped ramrod, possibly original.
