An Incredibly Fine and Rare 38 Bore L.A.C. Percussion Revolver. With blued sighted octagonal barrel, stamped with London proofs and the ‘L.A.C.’ mark, top strap engraved ‘London Armoury’, blued frame fitted with sliding safety catch and stamped, ‘B1784L ADAMS’ PATENT No. 33587R’ blued cylinder stamped with London proofs and matching serial number, ’33587R’ spurred trigger, chequered walnut grip, with hinged side mounted loading rod: in original lined and fitted case with most of its accessories including Dixon & Sons powder flask retaining most original finish, brass bullet mould, loading rod, nipple key etc, the interior of the lid with with scarce ‘London Armoury’ trade label, the exterior of the lid with circular vacant escutcheon.
Notes:
This cased set is in fine overall condition retaining almost all of its original colour, some areas of loss to the trigger guard and the butt cap. A fine example.
