An Early Flintlock Queen Anne Pistol by Collumbell of London, Circa 1740. With three-stage cannon barrel, breech engraved with a stand of arms and signed below stamped with London proofs and Foreigner’s mark, foliate engraved tang, border engraved action, cock and steel, swelling figured walnut butt, carved in relief with foliage behind the barrel tang, cast and chased silver mounts comprising side-plate, vacant escutcheon with martial trophies with grotesque butt cap
