A Flintlock Holster Pistol by Freeman of London. With three-stage brass barrel, stamped FREEMAN and LONDON and stamped with Freemans barrel smith mark and London proofs. Steel tang engraved with scrolling foliage, border engraved brass banana shaped lock, signed FREEMAN underneath the pan, full-stocked in walnut with raised mouldings around the tang and ramrod pipes, with engraved brass furniture comprising foliate side-plate, long-eared butt cap with grotesque mask, turned ramrod pipes and what appears to be original wooden ramrod.
