A 16 bore percussion holster pistol built for the East India Government in 1869. The blued barrel is struck with Birmingham inspector’s marks and Tower of London military proof marks. The walnut full-stock is struck with the Birmingham inspector’s marks, The lock is stamped Birmingham 1871 and with a crowned broad arrow above E.I.G., together with a Birmingham inspector’s stamp. Fitted with regulation brass mounts together with a swivel ramrod and a lanyard ring.
