An 1890 Pattern Cavalry Troopers Sword. With slightly curved single edged blade cut with a deep central fuller on both sides, double edged towards the point and regimentally rounded for sword practice, stamped with numerous British military marks at the forte, regulation hilt with Maltese cross piercing, chequered leather riveted grips, in its steel scabbard with fixed opposed hanging rings. The blade retaining virtually all of its original polish.
