An Infantry 1845/54 Pattern Sword. With ‘dumbbell’ blade cut with a long central fuller etched with Royal Cipher, scrolling foliage and a bird holding a sprig of foliage with the motto ‘LIBERTAS’ below, double edged at the point, regulation hilt with Royal Cipher, wire-bound fish-skin grip, in clean condition overall.
