A Superb Double Barrel Percussion Pistol by Conway of Manchester. With browned double barrels engraved ‘MANCHESTER’ along the central rib, case-hardened breech block with gold line decorated with scrolling foliage, profusely engraved tang, foliate engraved back-action locks incorporating a dragons head and signed along the top edge, ‘CONWAY’ half-stocked in walnut cut with a band of chequering at the grip, profusely engraved mounts comprising trigger guard decorated with scrolling foliage on the bow with stylised pineapple finial, profusely engraved ramrod pipe, brass tipped ramrod.
