With fluted barrel retiring traces of original case-hardening, engraved with foliage at the muzzles numbered from ‘1’ to ‘6’ at the border and engraved breeches, border engraved action signed amid scrolling foliage on one side, nipple shield engraved en suite, thumb-piece safety catch, engraved bar-hammer, finely chequered butt, mounts decorated en suite with the action and comprising ovoid butt-cap with hinged circular butt-trap cover and vacant rectangular silver escutcheon, London proof marks.
