A Sword for the Chester Volunteer Artillery, With slightly curved singled edged blade cut with a long, deep fuller running along the back edge of the blade, double edged at the point, etched with scrolling foliage, ‘CHESTER VOLUNTEER ARTILLERY’ and the makers name at the forte ‘Warren Cursitor St, Chancery Lane, London’ regulation steel three bar hilt with wire-bound fish skin grip in its original steel scabbard with two suspension rings.
