A Superb Percussion Pepperbox by Hollis & Sheath, London. With fluted five-shot barrel block cut with ribs and stamped with London proofs and numbered ‘1’ to ‘5’, decorated with scrolling foliage at the muzzle and breech, profusely engraved action incorporating swelling flash guard, bar hammer and sliding safety catch, finely chequered walnut butt (scratch to one side) with foliate engraved butt-trap, with vacant rectangular escutcheon. In absolutely outstanding condition.
