A Superb Brass Barrelled Flintlock Blunderbuss by Twigg of London. With belled two-stage barrel engraved ‘LONDON’ on the top flat and struck with Birmingham proofs at the breech, fitted with sprung bayonet above, stepped, bevelled lock signed ‘TWIGG’ and fitted with a sliding safety catch, decorated with sprays of foliage, full stocked in walnut, cut with a band of chequering at the wrist, with engraved  brass mounts comprising butt plate, trigger guard engraved with foliage on the bow and pineapple finial, and turned ramrod pipes, with original horn tipped ramrod and worm.
