Bayonet, Cutlass & Sword Manufacturer, There was a Reeves, Charles who was a Victualler & Gunmaker at 62 Bartholomew Street c.1815-1825. It is probable that he was the founder of the firm. Reeves & Greaves appear in Rate Books which cover the years 1827-1833, but it is not an original entry. The spelling of Grieves appears in the Directories as shown but is probably a misprint.
