An Early Cannon-Barrelled Flintlock Pocket Pistol by Jackson of Maidstone. With three-stage turn-off cannon barrel, decorated with foliage at the breech and signed ‘MAIDSTONE’ along the top, foliate engraved tang, border engraved signed lock, foliate engraved cock, half-stocked in walnut, inlaid with scrolling silver wire at the breech, with brass mounts comprising side-plate comprising stands of arms, vacant brass escutcheon, grotesque mask butt cap, engraved foliate trigger guard with acorn finial.
