A Rare Pattern 1796 Heavy Dragoon with Nock’s Patent Screwless Lock. With browned octagonal to round barrel, plain tang, with scarce Nock’s patent screwless flintlock with flat bevelled lock plate, face signed ‘H Nock’ in script, full-stocked in walnut with raised panels around the lock, with brass military style trigger guard, small round brass escutcheon around single lock screw, no buttcap,  with brass tipped ramrod.
