With sighted octagonal barrel, signed FORSYTH & CO PATENT LONDON (feint) along the top-flat, fitted with rear-sight towards the breech, engraved double platinum lined breech block with platinum plug and stamped with London proofs below, profusely engraved tang, engraved back-action lock signed FORSYTH & CO PATENT and fitted with sliding safety catch, cock decorated en suite, set trigger, characteristic grip, cut with chequering a, vacant white metal escutcheon on the butt, border engraved trigger guard decorated with a spray of foliage on the bow.
