With fine etched dumb bell blade, decorated with scrolling foliage and GR V Royal cipher, and etched with retailers name, ‘Boyton of Clerkenwell’, gilt brass gothic hilt, wire bound fish-skin grip, in its leather bound field scabbard. 


Notes:

All P1892 swords were re-hilted in 1895 except for the Royal Army Medical Corps which retained the P1892 until 1934. Any P1892 with a cartouche other than VR is therefore RAMC.
