With sighted Damascus twist barrel, signed along the top-flat ‘JOHN PROBIN 115 St MARTINS LANE LONDON’ fitted with rear sight at breech, platinum lined breech decorated with foliage, profusely engraved tang, signed border engraved lock, decorated with scrolling foliage throughout, cock decorated en-suite, half-stocked in walnut, with steel mounts comprising oval butt cap engraved with scrolling foliage, blued, spurred trigger guard with pineapple finial and foliate engraved fore-end cap. A crisp pistol.
