With browned twist sighted barrels signed, ‘JOHN BOSTON WAKEFIELD’ (re-engraved) along the rib, case hardened breech with platinum plugs, profusely scroll engraved steel tang, border engraved flat locks, decorated with scrolling foliage and signed ‘BOSTON’, dolphin hammers decorated en suite, figured half-stock, with chequered grip, steel mounts decorated en suite, including scroll trigger guard, vacant white metal escutcheon, stamped with London proofs.
