A Percussion Signal Cannon. With tapering brass three-stage barrel with raised mouldings and bell-shaped muzzle, the touch holes is fitted with a percussion nipple (the nipple is damaged, but the cannon is supplied with a spare) and there is a percussion hammer mechanism also attached to the top of the barrel, operated by a pull string, plain grunions and knob shaped cascabel; on its original stepped wooden carriage with movable elevating block, in completely untouched condition. The cannon has come from a private house and has remained untouched for many years
