With round three-stage barrels, breeches engraved with foliage and signed ‘BATH’,signed rounded actions with moulded border, cocks and steels with moulded borders, swelling moulded figured butts carved around the barrel tangs with cast and chased silver mounts comprising side plate depicting stands of arms, grotesque mask butt-caps (with hallmarks for Jeremiah Ashley) and shell-shaped escutcheons engraved with wild boars heads
