A Good Pair of Flintlock Queen Anne Pistols by Barbar. With round three-stage turn-off cannon barrels, numbered ‘1’ and ‘2’ and stamped with barrel smiths mark and London proofs below and decorated with scrolling foliage and engraved ‘LONDON’ above, foliate engraved barrel tangs, border engraved actions and cocks, beautifully figured swelling walnut butts, cast and chased silver mounts comprising grotesque mask butt caps and scrolling foliate side-plates. In untouched condition overall, both barrels unscrew.
