Short tubular cuisse plates, pierced at the upper edges with keyhole slots for attachment to a pair of assets. Below these, pollen units consisting of a main plate with small side-wing, with two articulated lames above and below. Below this again, lower plates, also pierced with keyhole slots, for attachment to a pair of greaves. The upper edges of the cuisses and the lower edges of the lower lames have turned edges with file roping and sunken bands. The wings of the pollens are embossed with horizontal ribs and have turned edges decorated with file roping. The inside of all plates are struck with dotted assembly marks.
