A Huge .577 Calibre Percussion Pepperbox by J. Harper of London. With fluted barrel block engraved with bands of foliage at the muzzle and numbered 1 to 5 stamped with London proofs, foliate scroll engraved rounded steel action with nipple-shield, fitted with sliding safety catch that also locks the hammer, deeply chequered walnut butt with vacant oval escutcheon, foliate engraved butt cap with hinged butt trap, foliate engraved trigger guard.
