A Good pair of Flintlock Cannon Barrelled Pistols by Edge, London, Circa 1770. With round turn-off multi-stage barrels, stamped at the breech with London proofs and a barrel smiths mark, border engraved box-lock actions, decorated with stands of arms to the left and a foliate spray to the right signed R. EDGE in the bottom corner, sliding trigger guard safety catches, swelling walnut butts inlaid with scrolling silver wire, with silver grotesque mask butt caps. In lovely clean condition overall.
