A Good Hammond Patent Rim Fire Bulldog, Circa 1866-89. With blued octagonal sighted barrel stamped, ‘CONNETICUT ARMS AND MANUF’G CO. NAUBUC CONN’. along the top flat, shaped breech-block pivoting down to the left for loading and stamped, ‘PATENTED OCT. 25. 1864’, chequered release-button also forming the back-sight, rounded frame and spur trigger, chequered grips and lots of original finish.
