PLAYFAIR 79 UNION STREET ABERDEEN’ along the top flat, stamped with London proofs and LAC mark, blued serial numbered cylinder stamped with London proofs, blued border engraved frame, serial numbered B16319 ADAMS PATENT No. 31992R, chequered walnut butt, with plain butt cap and trigger guard, in original fitted oak-case lined in green baize with accessories including a fine G & J.W. Hawksley flask, bullet mould, oil bottle etc, with Charles Playfair trade label, the exterior with circular brass escutcheon.
