A Good Blunderbuss of Small Size by Twigg. With three stage octagonal to round barrel, engraved ‘LONDON’ stamped with Birmingham proofs, fitted with sprung bayonet above, engraved tang, fitted with sliding bayonet release catch, bevelled stepped lock, fitted with sliding safety catch and signed, ‘TWIGG’ underneath the pan, full-stocked in walnut cut with a band of chequering at the grip, with engraved brass mounts comprising butt plate, trigger guard decorated with a flower head on the bow and pineapple finial, turned ramrod pipes and horn tipped ramrod with worm.
