A Flintlock Man-Stopper by Wilkinson of Bristol. With solid brass octagonal to round barrel, stamped ‘BRISTOL’ along the top flat and with Birmingham proofs, foliate engraved tang, stepped, bevelled lock signed ‘WILKINSON’. Full-stocked in walnut with a raised moulding around the tail of the lock, brass mounts comprising plain trigger guard with pineapple finial and engraved ramrod pipes. Horn-tipped ramrod.
