A Flintlock Holster Pistol by Pearsall of Bury, Circa 1750. With three-stage octagonal to round barrel, border engraved barrel tang, signed rounded border engraved lock decorated with a spray of foliage at the tail, figured full-stock (old repair to fore-end), carved in relief with a shell and foliage behind the barrel tang, cast and chased mounts comprising scrolling side-plate, escutcheon with foliate border signed 'R. B.', with long eared butt cap, complete with horn tipped ramrod. A fine early pistol.
