With browned octagonal barrel (missing fore-sight) with traces of engraving reading ‘MAKER to his Majesty’ with gold poincon ‘INNES’ and single gold line, foliate engraved tang, stepped, bevelled lock signed ‘INNES’ (missing sliding safety catch) with rain-proof pan (some losses) and associated ‘French style’ cock, half-stocked in walnut and cut with crisp chequering, with engraved steel trigger guard and pineapple finial, engraved fore-end cap and replacement ramrod. Mechanically fine, the set trigger working perfectly. A nice project!
