A Flintlock ‘India Pattern’ Brownbess from Wollaton Hall, Nottinghamshire. Of regulation specification, with round sighted barrel, stamped with Tower proofs and numbered ’94’, plain tang, cut with a sighting groove, rounded lock with double line engraving, with crowned ‘GR’ and signed ’T. KETLAND & Co’ on the tail, full stocked in walnut (old repair to the fore-end, some digs and nocks - see photographs) bras furnitures, comprising butt-plate, side-plate, trigger guard and ram-rod pipes, with original steel ramrod and original bayonet numbered to the gun.
