A Flintlock Blunderbuss by Thomas of London, With octagonal to round three-stage brass barrel, stamped with Tower of London private proofs, fitted with a bayonet underneath. Stepped, signed lock, fitted with a sliding safety catch. Half-stocked in walnut and cut with a band of chequering at the wrist. Brass mounts comprising border engraved butt-plate, trigger guard decorated with a flower head on the bow and incorporating the bayonet release catch. Ramrod mounted to the side of the barrel. In nice clean order.
